Trucks!

No doubt Benjamin is in love with trucks, tractors, buses, motorcycles...anything with wheels - especially if it's big! So naturally the Touch-A-Truck event was screaming for his attention. Hosted by the local shcool district for pre-school kids, it was a way to inform parents on what to expect and let the kids have at the "trucks." Abie had her fill of fun too. There were lots of little games to play and prizes & treats in the booths and then all the vehicles to climb in and out of and push lots of buttons....including horns! While they liked being the ones to push them, they weren't so thrilled when someone else did - mostly scared. But it was fun!

That's really neat! I wish they would do something like that around here!

They have a vehicle fair every year in our area and it is great. And then the fire stations at times have open house where you can visit and get inside the trucks.

You'll have to remember when he is a little bigger to contact your fire dept. for a free tour. We've done that for a bday party when Z. was 6 and it was great. They kids loved it and it was FREE!!!

Looks like fun! Gavin would have gone nuts over something like that. He's already decided that he wants to be a fireman when he grows up. :-)

I'm sure the picture with the policeman brings back lots of "fun" memories for Taylor:) It must be Lewis thing.
