Halloween

Been and gone, it's true. But the Lewis' are trying to catch up from several weeks of non-stop activities & events +. But A, & B had been talking for weeks about how excited they were to wear their costumes and telling everyone what they were going to be....as well as E, mom and dad.
First A & B had a joint preschool party. They got to dress up in their costumes and younger siblings could join in too! B needed a bit of convincing now that it was time to actually wear his costume = suddenly it wasn't so exciting?
The little ladybug
Flying butterfly
Sweet bumble bee.....who was at this moment being bribed by J with a hershey kiss to wear the costume for the picture....Don't let that innocent face fool you!
the 3 Lewis bugs!

Then there was the ward Halloween party:
What? You can't tell what T & J are? Just ask the kids: daddy is a stick bug (minimal costume) and mommy a dragonfly. Lewis bug family!
Their freinds Jessi & Buzz Lightyear (Woody was also present that evening)
And another great friend: Mater!!!

Halloween

Halloween highlights for the Lewis'
Pumpkin carving for A & B, with some help of course, but B felt he was quite capable by himself

the end result

The Lewis Railroad presents: Lewis Circus Family Train - 2 engineers, a lion and tiger (not pictured here is the lump of coal - she was sleeping)

a big "roar" - note lion & tiger constumes were borrowed

asking for help to open a tootsie roll

lump of coal awakes, but without the cuteness of her hat, but proof she was there

special mention of this tractor that B was taking for his own

It's a good thing for the party, because they didn't make it out for the actual trick-or-treating....boo-hoo! But they did enjoy passing out treats to those that came by.
