It had been nearly a month of the tv remote being on vacation. E was last seen with it...playing happily and overlooked. Later that night it was realized it was not in it's place. J searched toy bins, garbage cans, couch cushions and much much more all to no avail. 3+ weeks passed and presumed it was on permanent vacation. Luckily J had blindly mastered the buttons on the side of the tv (it's in a cabinet), but sure was inconvenient. Then yesterday as she went to put plastic on the windows to keep out the bitter cold she spotted it! Tucked ever so cleverly on the wall ledge between the barbie house and wall, beneath the window!
(remote re-positioned for photo purposes)When J pulled it out with amazement and excitement she asked, "who put it here?" Realizing it couldn't have been E. B got a big laugh and said, "me!" He'd apparently forgotten he hid it there until it was found as J and T had repeatedly inquired of A & B on where the remote was. Laziness can return for changing channels and volume for the Lewis family! Hooray!

We found our vacationing remote behind some books on the bookshelf. Maybe if we read more we would've found it sooner. Ours was gone about a month too.
This is pretty close to one of my worst nightmares, and we don't even watch that much tv! So glad you guys were able to find it. And it only took a month!
